IT’S A TICKETLESS RAFFLE! Easy as 1-2-3!

Not only do donations made to our Keep Us Dancing campaign help support our year round programming, but anyone who donates will be entered into our ticketless raffle with an opportunity to win amazing prizes! Please see below for details on how to set up your fundraiser, and how to earn donor and student prizes!

1. Make a personal fundraising page

   Have fun creating your own custom page! Add photos of you dancing with your friends or doing your favorite steps from class. You can even add video!

   **Parents with multiple participating children will need to use separate email addresses to set up each child’s fundraising page.

   Setup Instructions:

   • Go to our fundraiser page

   • Click on “Start a fundraiser” button. (If you have previously completed this step and are already logged in, the button will say “go to my fundraiser”.)

   • Follow the on screen instructions to finish setting up your page!

     NOTE: If you have set up a fundraising page in years past and are using the same email address, you should select login to an exisiting account at the bottom of the signup page.

   • If you are having trouble getting signed up and need help, check out our troublshooting page. You can also call us or come to the office at DW and we will help you.

   • There is a place to put a note from you. An example from a student has been shared below.

     "My name is, XXXX , and I have been dancing for XX years. Dancing at DW has been such a wonderful experience! It has helped me become a better person, student, and dancer. Dancing helps me express my emotions and feel free. I love all of my teachers here at DW. They have worked so hard for us and now is an opportunity to show our appreciation and support. Please donate so that others like me can continue to grow as both artists and students."

   • To help you craft a personal message, we held brainstorming sessions the students. Here are some highlights of their responses:

     • Kinder 6 - Basics - asking them “What do you love about dancing at DW?”

       • expressing emotions in my body

       • making new friends

       • performing in Winter Production and Progress Performance

       • having fun learning

     • Level 2 - “What do you love about dancing at DW?” and “What lessons do you value learning here?”

       • respect for others

       • kindness

       • express (and/or) control yourself

       • get out of comfort zone

     • Levels 3 - 4 - “What do you love about dancing at DW?” and “What lessons do you value learning here?”

       • performing

       • dedication

       • trying new things

       • building community

       • pushing limits

       • safe place to be yourself

       • perseverance

2. Share your page with friends and family no matter where they are

   When you make your page, you will get a link and easy share buttons on your page and in your email.

3. Talk to people you know and hand out cards

   Our business cards have the web address and a QR code on them for an easy, cashless, way to let people know how to donate.

   NOTE: Make sure they dedicate their gift to you so you get credit for their donation.

   Here are some great reasons for supporting you to share with people:

   “We are helping Dancers’ Workshop…”

   • keep tuition affordable for everyone

   • provide aid to eliminate financial barriers to our classes

   • professionally produce original student productions like “New Dances, New Choreographers”, “Fairest of them All” and “The Wizard of Oz”

   • have the highest quality teaching faculty. All our teachers have professional dance experience. “I love my teachers!”

   • rent the theatre to produce an annual spring performance so I can show everyone how hard I’ve worked all year. It’s amazing that we get to perform on the Center stage!

   • engage professional choreographers to work with our students – an experience most dance students don’t get until college

   • present world renowned dance companies to perform, teach, and engage with our students and our community

KEEP TRACK OF ALL YOUR DONATIONS ON YOUR TRACKING SHEET AND TURN THEM IN BY 5PM ON MAY 9 TO BE CONSIDERED FOR STUDENT PRIZES

Keeping track of your fundraising page:

• To be considered for student prizes, you will need to keep track of donations you recieve on your donation sheet.

• Donation Sheets will be passed out to all participating students the week of March 10th, but you are welcome to stop by the office for a new one if you lose or damage your original sheet.

• We will tally top earners based on the final sheet you turn in on May 9, so all cash, check, and online donations MUST be noted here to be considered.
