Progress Performance is the year end showcase for the School at Dancers' Workshop and offers DW students kindergarten age and up the opportunity to perform on The Center Stage! Students commit original choreography to memory and show off what they’ve learned during the course of the year. More than a recital, Progress Performance is a rite of passage for all DW students - a wonderful bonding experience and opportunity for students to grow their confidence and artistry. Students enrolled in ballet, modern, jazz and hip hop perform pieces inspired by a common theme. Past themes have included Rock n’ Roll, Tributes, and More Than Movement. Individual instructors approach themes in their own ways, and when appropriate, incorporate student ideas, creating fun and energized performances.
