Dancing Studio at Dancers' Workshop

SPACE

Each studio has its own unique feel but offers the same basic amenities: mirrored walls, sound system and access to restrooms. Studios 1, 2, 3, and 5 have marley floors. Studio 4 has a wood floor that is ideal for tap, social dance and hip hop. Wall mounted fixed barres in Studio 5 are ideal for barre classes. To keep our floors in good condition, please do not wear street shoes inside the studios.

FACILITIES

Dancers’ Workshop studios and administrative offices are located on the second floor of The Center, 240 South Glenwood Street. Our five spacious, airy studios offer dancers of all ages and abilities the opportunity to move and create. Classes, performances and events are held in ADA accessible venues with handicapped parking, wheelchair ramps, handicapped-accessible restrooms, and elevators. Studio 1, our largest and most versatile studio, is equipped with lighting to accommodate black box performances or parties.

STUDIO RENTAL

To determine if a studio can accommodate your desired setup, divide the room’s total square footage by fifteen for an estimated average. For more than 300 people, it is approximately ten square feet per person. To rent space for dance-related activities and events, please contact Dancers’ Workshop for space availability and prices. For all other events, please contact The Center at 307-734-8956 for rental details.
