  • Luke Zender

    Dance Instructor // CDW Member

    Luke Zender is a Jackson native, however, he was not a part of Dancers’ Workshop growing up. Luke was a gymnast his entire life and made the transition to dance at age 18 after an injury prevented him from returning to gymnastics. He has trained with Debbie Allen Dance Academy and Panacea Performing Arts in Los Angeles. He also attended Peridance Capezio Center’s conservatory ballet program in New York City. Luke is more than excited to be back home to dance, teach and grow with Contemporary Dance Wyoming.

  • Marissa Moeri

    Front Desk Associate // Dance Instructor

    Marissa Moeri holds a B.A. from Skidmore College. While in college, she had the honor of working with acclaimed artists-in-residence Robert Battle and Jeanne Bresciani.  Her studies took her to Greece where she performed with the Isadora Duncan International Institute in the reconstructed works of Isadora Duncan. From 2006-2010 she lived in Boston where she performed with SOKOLOW NOW!, Deborah Abel Dance Company, Kelley Donovan and Dancers, Danny Swain Dance Company, and as a guest with Weber Dance. She danced with Contemporary Dance Wyoming from 2010-2015. With the help of her amazing husband, Michael, she is a now taking on her most important role as Mom to Owen Brighton, born December 2015. After taking some time off, Marissa is excited to once again be dancing, teaching, and working the front desk at Dancers’ Workshop!

  • Michaela Ellingson

    Pilates Instructor // JRC Director // Dance Instructor // CDW Member
    Michaela is a Jackson Hole native and Dancers’ Workshop alum. She received her BFA from the Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase, graduating magma cum laude and her MA from London Contemporary Dance School. She has danced with Edge Postgraduate Company, MCDC, Bittersuite and Flavour and Some in London and The Purchase Dance Company and JUNTOS Collective while in New York, as well as creating her own work along the way. She became certified to teach Pilates from the Art of Science and Contrology Full Apparatus Program in New York and has taught Pilates in various studios and fitness centers in London and Jackson. She has danced with Hole Dance Films in Jackson, is a current member of Contemporary Dance Wyoming and is the Director of DW's Junior Repertory Company. Michaela has always loved to move and aims to inspire others to move as well. 

  • Nicole Gustine

    Dance Instructor

    Nicole began dancing when she was five and studied classical ballet and jazz throughout her formative years in Raleigh, North Carolina. She studied ballet at the University of Utah during her freshman year, but quickly discovered her love for the outdoors and transferred to Colorado State University where she completed a B.S. in Wildlife Biology. While at Colorado State University she studied modern dance and could be found dancing on mountains. After graduating, her career took her to Alaska where she also was a member of Peninsula Artists in Motion Dance Company for three years as well as taught beginning ballet and jazz at Encore Dance Studio. A little time off from dancing was filled with getting married, starting a family, and exploring Alaska. Nicole's family moved to Moose in the summer of 2015 and she's excited to join DW as a teacher and looks forward to the years ahead.

  • Olga Needham

    Dance Instructor

    Olga started studying ballet and gymnastics at 10 years old in Kyrgyzstan. She quickly excelled in both, and at 13 years old moved to Kiev to enter the Olympic School. She participated in the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, where she also finished a degree in Sports Medicine and was invited to join the Moscow Circus as a high bar gymnast. Her work has also included touring with Barnum Ballet and Cirque du Soleil for 12 years in 25 countries. Olga loves teaching Ballet Workout at Dancers’ Workshop.

  • Dawn Webster


    Dawn received her early training in Tampa, FL. She was a member of Florida West Ballet and Dance Project Tampa. She received a BS in Exercise Science with a minor in Dance from the University of South Florida. She is certified as a Group Fitness Instructor by the American Aerobics and Fitness Association and is also a certified paralegal. Dawn has been teaching dance since 1990 and joined Dancers' Workshop in 2004.

  • Rachel Holmes

    Dance Instructor

    Rachel Holmes is currently an instructor for the School at Dancers' Workshop. Prior to moving to Jackson, Rachel was a member of NYC-based Elisa Monte Dance Company. She began her formal training at the Anneliese von Oettingen School of Ballet and the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated high school early to begin her professional dance career. Rachel attended Ballet Met, Dance Theater of Harlem, and the Joffrey Ballet School.She has had the honor of working with choreographers Andre Zachery and Joe Celej, and touring nationally and internationally with the Kai Kweol Contemporary Dance Theater in Cincinnati, Joan Miller’s Dance Players, Elisa Monte Dance, NY2Dance, and Mazzini Dance Collective. Ms. Holmes has set works, taught master classes, workshops, and privates classes in the US, South America and Europe.

  • Stacy Thorkildsen

    Kinder Instructor

    Stacy has a love of dancing that started when she began to study dance at the age of eight. She trained at San Ramon Valley Dance Academy in ballet, tap and jazz. She continued her studies at Brigham Young University and has been a part of DW for 20 years. She receives great joy from her little dancers. She’s blessed with a fabulous family and loves being actively involved in her children’s activities.

  • Stephen Vletas

    Salsa Instructor

    Stephen never had any aptitude (or rhythm) for dancing for the first fifty years of his life. Then he moved to Argentina and the Latin cultural must have worked its way into his blood. He started out dancing Tango, but moved on to Salsa and then Bachata because they were more fun and great social dances when you go out to clubs. Stephen dances L.A. style and Cuban/Rueda style salsa, and urban and classic style Bachata. His bachata classes focus on helping students learn the basics, then move on to more advanced moves that give confidence when social dancing. Stephen also teaches intermediate and advanced Cuban Rueda salsa. Stephen is one of the leaders of the Jackson Hole Salsa and Bachata group. Find out more about the group at

  • Tammy Bartlett

    REFIT® Instructor

    Tammy began dancing at the age of 5 in genres including competitive Highland dancing, Ballet, Jazz, cheerleading, beginning Tap and Hip Hop. She received top honors through the R.A.D. and B.A.T.D. examination process. At 14, Tammy became a corps dancer with the American Festival Ballet Company under the direction of Kevin Brown. At the age of 18, Tammy was given the opportunity to begin teaching others to dance - this is when the beautiful journey of teaching others was birthed. At the age of 24, she began teaching professionally. Tammy has been choreographing various and sundry pieces, musicals, and the like for 39 years.  

    In high school, Tammy incurred some tough injuries that encouraged a great love for fitness and the human body. She’s currently working on her Advanced Science certification to advise athletes on nutrition and working on her AFAA. Through many life experiences, she has developed Big LOVE for people - all shapes, sizes, beliefs, race and abilities. This is why Tammy’s newest endeavor REFIT® is such a great fit. Tammy is a certified REFIT® instructor.
