Contemporary Dance Wyoming

Contemporary Dance Wyoming (CDW) is Dancers’ Workshop’s resident professional modern dance company. Under the direction of Artistic Director Babs Case, visually stimulating, highly athletic, exhilarating repertoire has provided local professional dancers performance opportunities in our community and throughout the Western region. CDW’s repertoire combines contemporary modern dance styles with visual arts, video, and poetry, often working collaboratively with artists of all disciplines from around the country.

The Company provides outreach to underserved western regions, performing and giving lecture demonstrations to educate communities about modern dance. Wyoming’s only professional modern dance company, CDW continues to grow in unexpected directions and add meaningful dimension to Wyoming’s cultural history.
